Dear Falcons,
Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! I hope that each of you had a safe summer and are excited and ready to return to school. We are looking forward to welcoming you back to school on Thursday, August 17, 2023.
In an effort to maintain a safe, orderly arrival process, all teachers and staff members will report to school early and welcome our students. Parents, please note that due to safety precautions, parents will not be allowed to enter the building during arrival or dismissal. For arrival, there will be 2 different entry points throughout the building.
- Students in PK, Kindergarten and first grades will enter the building from the front of the school (Main Entrance) and report directly to the cafeteria.
- Students in 2nd-5th grades will enter through the cafeteria doors (NE 18th Avenue entrance). Grade 2-3 will remain in the cafeteria until teachers pick them up for class. Grades 4-5 will go to the PE shelter until teachers pick them up.
Car riders will unload between the two cones and exit on the school side of the street. Private school buses will drop off students in 2nd through 5th grades to their respective entry point off NE 18th Ave (1st stop) and then proceed to drop PK through 1st grade students at the Parent Drop-Off Area by the Main Office (2nd stop).
School is offering free breakfast beginning at 7:30 am for all students. Classes begin promptly at 8:20 a.m. for grades PK through first and promptly at 8:35 for 2nd through 5th grades.
We hope to see each of our Falcons report to school early on Thursday ready and eager to start an amazing school year!!!!
